Hoyles Named Assistant Pac-10 Commissioner

WALNUT CREEK — Christine W. Hoyles, associate director of athletics at Western Michigan University the last 12 years, has been appointed assistant commissioner of the Pacific-10 Conference, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced Thursday.
Hoyles will administer the Pac-10 championships for men’s and women’s sports, the Pac-10 Women’s Administrative Committee and its minority Administrative Fellowship program.
