‘A Penny Isn’t Enough’
Recently, I took some bundled newspapers to a recycling center near a major market in Westchester. I was asked for my driver’s license. I tried it again and I was asked to sign my name in a book. This time I took one can and some papers.
Perhaps at least a few more people would be willing to participate in the recycling program if they were not asked for identification and signatures.
