As a history buff concerning Beryl Markham, I wish to say that the special “Shadow on the Sun” was excellent. The photography was breathtakingly beautiful. Also, the makeup person who worked on Stefanie Powers was superb. She looked so much like Markham in her old age that it was quite a shock. But I do wish they had made the program longer and that it had gone into detail on her father, who had a great life and was considered a genius of a horse trainer.
