Envoy to Niger Chosen

WASHINGTON — President Reagan intends to nominate Carl Copeland Cundiff, a career Foreign Service officer, to be ambassador to the Republic of Niger, the White House has announced. Cundiff, 47, has been office director in the office of food and policy programs for the economic bureau of the State Department since 1986.
