Sen. Bergeson’s Bolsa Chica Bill
I’m thankful that state Sen. Marian Bergeson (R-Newport Beach) has, for the second time, withdrawn her ill-conceived Bolsa Chica developer-welfare bill, (SB 1517).
Perhaps now Sen. Bergeson will help us with the ultimate solution to the Bolsa Chica problem--a public/private purchase of the entire 1,600-acre property for posterity.
It will actually be cheaper this way.
