Three men who escaped from the Terminal Island federal prison in Los Angeles Harbor were recaptured in Oxnard, authorities said. The three were reported missing May 25 and may have escaped by hiding in speaker cases used by a rock band that had performed at the prison. Arrested were Dennis E. Ingham, 45, of Orange County; James A. Sines, 44, of Newport Beach, and Carlos Cantor, 38, of Colombia. Ingham is accused of masterminding the smuggling of 130 tons of marijuana into the United States. Cantor was awaiting trial on drug charges and Sines was serving a 15-year sentence for conspiring to import heroin.
