South Africa said a combined force of Cuban and Angolan troops suffered 200 dead in attacks on a dam South African troops were guarding inside Angola and that 12 South Africans were also killed. It said the Calueque dam, which supplies water to the northern region of the South African-controlled territory of Namibia, was attacked by land and air on Monday.
