A Pakistani jet fighter crashed and exploded in Karachi, killing 14 people, including the two crewmen, and injuring 40 others, military and hospital officials said. The French-built Mirage 2000, on a routine training flight, was approaching the Masroor air base when it plunged into a truck assembly plant. Its jettisoned fuel tank crashed into the warehouse of a nearby food-processing factory.
