Local News in Brief : Anaheim : Residents May Apply for High School Panel
Applications are available to school district residents who want to serve on the Anaheim Union High School District Boundary Review Committee.
The committee members are to be chosen by the school district’s Board of Trustees. Earlier this year, trustees authorized formation of a citizens committee to study attendance boundaries and to recommend any needed changes. The boundary study had been recommended by the district’s 1987-88 Blue Ribbon Task Force.
Changes in population density arising from new housing and redevelopment projects are among the items to be studied. The boundary review committee will be asked to make its recommendations by February, 1989.
Applications for a seat on the committee are available at the superintendent’s office, Anaheim Education Center, 501 Crescent Way, Anaheim, or by calling (714) 999-3502.
