Coca-Cola Co.’s net income rose 13.8% to $303 million in its second quarter, compared to 266.4 million in the year-ago period. The Atlanta-based beverage maker attributed its performance to increased sales in Europe and the Pacific because the dollar’s decline made the product cheaper overseas. U.S. sales also grew 6%, the company said.
