BAD VIBRATIONS
I was recently quoted in your article on Brian Wilson (“Bad Vibrations,” by Nancy Spiller, June 26). Since the time of the referenced quote, 1976, I have worked with Brian as his personal manager.
As an ethical business manager handling the personal financial affairs of many very wealthy individuals, it is my fiduciary duty to communicate directly with the client. In the case of Brian Wilson, no matter how much I persisted, I was rarely allowed to talk with him about his financial affairs without Landy or his aides being present and documenting every word.
I am pleased to see that Brian Wilson’s new album is getting great reviews. I hope that with his new album comes new strength to deal with his personal life more independently.
