Filly I’m Flexible an Easy Winner at Los Alamitos
The filly I’m Flexible made short work of her five rivals Monday night at Los Alamitos and breezed to victory in the $27,000 allowance feature at the Orange County Racing Fair.
I’m Flexible won her second race in four career starts and gave leading jockey Corey Black his third victory of the night.
I’m Flexible took a clear lead as the field entered the backstretch of the 6 1/2-furlong race. This Is Splendid rallied for second, but was never a threat to the winner.
I’m Flexible reached the wire in 1:17 2/5 and won by 2 lengths.
The favorite of the 6,264 in attendance Monday, I’m Flexible returned $5, $2.80 and $2.40. This Is Splendid paid $3.60 and $2.80. Edie’s Design returned $2.40.
