Long Beach : AIDS Testing Continued
The City Council voted last week to continue free AIDS testing for students at Cal State Long Beach. The service will cost the city $13,500 for the next year.
The council also approved allocating $75,000 of state funds for testing of acquired immune deficiency syndrome at the Center of Long Beach, 2017 E. 4th St.
The city has been providing the testing since June 1985.
