The Rams announced that eight-year nose tackle Greg Meisner will undergo arthroscopic surgery today to repair the lateral cartilage in his left knee.

Meisner, a starter last season, was examined just a day after starting fullback Mike Guman underwent knee surgery. Both are expected to be out about four weeks, which would make them unavailable for the season opener.
