San Francisco Find
I’ve noticed the Hotel Bedford (761 Post St., San Francisco 94109) mentioned several times in Jerry Hulse’s Travel Tips, most recently its special $50 rate on Sunday nights. So last week I decided to try it, as I had to be in San Francisco early Monday morning for business.
What a delightful surprise! Hotel Bedford is lovely, has newly redecorated rooms, is close to Union Square, and on a Sunday night it has to be the best bargain in San Francisco. Also, I loved the hotel’s free limousine service to the Financial District, which I used Monday morning. I felt like a real VIP!
The hotel’s regular weekday rate is $89, still a very good deal, I think.
