Woman Surrenders in Shooting Case
An unemployed Lemon Grove woman being sought in connection with the Monday night shooting of a mechanic has turned herself in to sheriff’s deputies, police said.
Cheryl Walsh, 28, of the 3500 block of Corona Street, surrendered at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Lemon Grove police station accompanied by public defender Linda Brown, a police spokesman said. Walsh was booked into Las Colinas on suspicion of attempted murder, he said.
