Berating the Emmys
The Emmy awards TV show last night proved that the television industry should have used the press and not the tube.
Anyone could have read the results in 3 minutes and not been totally bored for 3 hours plus.
The show--in my opinion--did nothing to further TV viewing or to arouse interest in a year when so much has gone wrong.
The sets were blah! So were the comedy routines. Robin Williams was the only one who had very good material--even if it was very blue in nature.
All in all, let’s end the award show format forever. Oscars, Emmys, Globes--who really cares? How does it affect any of us?
