Bernazard Hits Homer, Leads Nankai to Win

TOKYO — Former major leaguer Tony Bernazard hit a ninth-inning solo home run as the Nankai Hawks edged the Seibu Lions 4-3 in 11 innings in Japanese baseball action Monday. The homer was his 16th of the season.
