Santa Monica, Moscow Will Swap Architecture Students
Santa Monica and Moscow will soon be exchanging architecture students and faculty.
An exchange program has been established between the beach city-based Southern California Institute of Architecture and the Moscow School of Architecture.
Next Sunday, five students, accompanied by Michael Rotondi, SCI-ARC’s director; Raymond Kappe, former director, and Rose Marie Rabin, the school’s chief administrator, will go to the Soviet Union for five weeks of study, teaching and travel.
In return, five students and an instructor, accompanied by Alexandr Kudriavtsev, dean of the Moscow School of Architecture, will come to SCI-ARC for five weeks.
