Village Voice Publisher to Give $25 Million to NYU

NEW YORK — Village Voice Publisher Leonard Stern plans to donate $25 million to New York University, the largest single gift it has ever received, according to a published report.
The money will be used to move the NYU Business School from lower Manhattan to the university’s Greenwich Village campus.
Stern, 50, owns the Village Voice and the Manhattan weekly 7 Days.
