Israeli soldiers killed one Palestinian and wounded at least four others after they were attacked by stone-throwing youths during an army raid on the West Bank village of Judeida, Palestinian sources and the army said. Palestinians identified the slain youth as Mahmoud Ahmed abu Khader, 18. Several other residents of Judeida, about 50 miles north of Jerusalem, were arrested after the violence, in which one soldier was slightly wounded, an army spokesman said. During the raid, soldiers ordered residents to take down outlawed Palestinian flags and erase nationalist slogans from buildings.
