An autopsy performed Friday on a badly decomposed body found in El Cajon failed to show the cause of death, a deputy coroner reported. Toxicology tests will be performed, he said.
The male body, found Wednesday night by a jogger, is believed to have been in bushes near Avocado Boulevard east of Skywood Drive for at least a month. It has not been identified.
The jogger said he looked into the bushes after noticing a foul odor for three or four weeks.
