Palmdale 33, Saugus 7--Tailback Travis Collier of Palmdale celebrated his selection as homecoming king with a 16-yard touchdown run and 61 yards in 8 carries at Palmdale.
Palmdale quarterback Mark Speer completed 8 of 17 for 150 yards and a touchdown. Tailback LaShante Parker gained 81 yards in 13 carries and scored a touchdown as Palmdale rushed for 194 yards. Tony Frazier caught 4 passes for 81 yards.
Palmdale had 344 total yards. Saugus gained only 115 and was held to 8 yards rushing.
Saugus quarterback George Lopata was 12 for 26 for 107 yards and threw 2 interceptions.
