First question for Dukakis: What would your reaction be, if your wife Kitty would have been raped and killed?
This question must have shocked Dukakis, who is known as a loving and caring husband, as it must have shocked very many of the 70 million watchers.
Dukakis should have rebuked the question and should have refused to answer. Dukakis showed restraint which is admirable and should never be regarded as coolness.
