Granada Hills 17, Canoga Park 7--The Highlanders broke a 7-7 tie with 10 second-half points to win at Canoga Park despite gaining only 227 yards--more than 100 yards fewer than their season average of 333.6 yards.
Granada Hills quarterback Chris Gadomski completed 4 of 11 for 90 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception.
Canoga Park’s Jason Mitchell scored on a 10-yard run in the second quarter, and the extra point by Doug Kreider gave the Hunters (1-5, 0-4) a 7-0 lead. Granada Hills (6-1, 4-0) tied the score when Gadomski connected on a 16-yard pass to William Morninglane with 1:31 left in the first half.
