Chrysler Corp. will discontinue two slow-selling models in March, a company executive confirmed, and shift production to two more popular models. Richard Dauch, executive vice president for manufacturing for Chrysler Motors Corp., the firm’s car-making arm, said the last Chrysler LeBaron GTS and Dodge Lancer will be assembled March 3, at the company’s Sterling Heights, Mich., plant. The plant will be devoted fully to making the Plymouth Sundance and Dodge Shadow cars, he said. Just 8% of the cars coming off the assembly line now at the plant are the four-door LeBaron and Lancer models.
