Opposition leader John Turner’s Liberal Party holds a slight lead over Prime Minister Brian Mulroney’s ruling Progressive Conservatives with two weeks to go before the Nov. 21 federal election in Canada, according to a new poll. The survey said the Liberals had the support of 40% of Canada’s voters, against 37% for the Conservatives and 20% for the left-leaning New Democratic Party.
