Local News in Brief : Garden Grove : Benefit Will Feature a Fast-Food Feast
An evening of top hats and tails, limousines, candlelight dining and dancing to benefit charity is scheduled today--at the local McDonald’s fast-food restaurant.
Guests will pay $125 a plate to dine on Chicken McNugget hors d’oeuvres and a choice of Big Mac or Filet-o-Fish sandwiches and french fries.
Proceeds from the evening will go to the Orange County Ronald McDonald House at Childrens Hospital of Orange County. The house, under construction, provides temporary housing for families of children undergoing treatment for serious illnesses at local hospitals.
The dinner will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the McDonald’s at 9845 Chapman Ave.
