CS Fullerton Plays Utah State for 2nd Place
Cal State Fullerton’s football team will play Utah State at 1 p.m. today at Santa Ana Stadium for second place in the Big West Conference.
Fresno State already has clinched the title. Fullerton and Utah State have identical records: 4-6 overall and 4-2 in the conference.
Utah State, winless in 5 road games, is led by quarterback Brent Snyder, who has passed for 2,936 yards this season, and split end Kendal Smith, who has 63 catches.
Fullerton quarterback Dan Speltz is coming off his best performance of the year, 325 yards passing in a 58-13 win over San Jose State.
