Nancy Reagan and Raisa Gorbachev, who have had a testy relationship in the past, will attend a luncheon next week while their husbands meet elsewhere in New York, it was announced today.

The meeting is to occur at the same time as the session tentatively set for Governor’s Island, where President Reagan, Soviet leader Mikhail S. Gorbachev and Vice President George Bush are to confer over lunch next Wednesday.

The two women, whose frosty relationship has become a sideshow in superpower gatherings, will attend a luncheon hosted by Marcella Perez de Cuellar, the wife of the U.N. Secretary General.

Mrs. Reagan’s spokeswoman, Elaine Crispen, said that other Americans and Soviets will be invited to the lunch, including Barbara Bush and Helena Shultz. It will be held at Perez de Cuellar’s residence in Manhattan.
