Orange : Irvine Lake Development to Be Covered in Meeting
Plans to develop 7,500 acres in an area of eastern Orange around Irvine Lake will be reviewed at a public meeting Dec. 8. The Irvine Co. and the city are working together on a study of the area.
While there are no specific plans, the general intent is to create a residential area with some commercial and recreational space. Construction is at least 2 years away.
The Dec. 8 workshop is the third in a series that has been conducted throughout the area. It will be at the city’s library, Community Room, 101 N. Center St., at the corner of East Chapman Avenue.
