Local News in Brief : Brea : La Habra Man Shot in Head on Highway
A 22-year-old La Habra man driving on Imperial Highway was shot by someone in a passing car in what police believe may be a gang-related shooting.
Jose Sanchez was shot in the head and was listed in serious condition Thursday at UCI Medical Center in Orange, Brea Police Lt. Cliff Trimble said.
“The possible weapon was an unknown-gauge shotgun,” Trimble said.
Police had little information from witnesses Thursday, and the investigation was continuing, he said.
