Dameworth to Meet Williamson Again
Bryan Dameworth of Agoura High and Mike Williamson of Thousand Oaks will renew their rivalry at the Kinney West regional cross-country championships in Fresno today.
Dameworth, who defeated Williamson to win his second consecutive state Division I title at Woodward Park in Fresno last Saturday, will attempt to qualify for the Kinney national championships for the second time in 3 years.
The top eight finishers in each of the boys’ and girls’ races qualify for the national championships at Morley Field in San Diego next Saturday.
Dave Hartman of Canyon and Craig Lawson of Granada Hills, seventh and 10th in the state meet, also will compete in Fresno.
Agoura’s Deena Drossin and Tiffany York will run in the girls’ race.
