When Duke’s leading scorer, Danny Ferry, got into early foul trouble, the Blue Devils found their offensive punch elsewhere--but not without some trepidation.

“It was scary,” Coach Mike Krzyzewski said after the top-ranked Blue Devils beat Stetson, 90-62, Monday night.

“The good and the bad. The bad is that we were not able to play him and it was frustrating for Danny. The good part of it was that we faced something like this against a good basketball team; a team that’s going to put a lot of pressure on us. I saw a lot more maturity from the backcourt tonight.”
