Local News in Brief : Warehouse Fire Causes $1 Million in Damage
Afire in a North Hollywood furniture warehouse caused an estimated $1 million in damage, the Los Angeles Fire Department said Wednesday.
About 100 firefighters took nearly an hour to extinguish the blaze, which spread through the 22,500-square-foot Jeannot Custom Furniture warehouse at 9:40 p.m. Monday, Fire Department spokesman Greg Acevedo said.
The cause of the fire, in the 11900 block of Vose Street, was still under investigation.
