John W. Corrington; ‘Superior Court’ Writer, Producer
John W. Corrington, 56, writer and producer of the successful “Superior Court” television show who twice was nominated for an Emmy for his work on that program. Corrington, who wrote with his wife, Joyce, also was a novelist who taught English at Loyola University in New Orleans before turning to screenplay writing and books. The Corringtons’ film credits include “The Red Baron,” “The Omega Man,” “Battle for the Planet of the Apes” and others. They also wrote such TV soap operas as “General Hospital,” “Capitol” and “Search for Tomorrow.” In Malibu on Nov. 24 of a heart attack.
