Boy, 2, Kidnaped for $2,000 Sale in Lebanon

BEIRUT — Lebanese police said Monday that they arrested two men who kidnaped a 2-year-old boy to be sold to a Jordanian woman for nearly $2,000.
They said the men seized the youngster near his home in Muslim West Beirut on Saturday but were caught before they could carry out their plan to sell him to the woman, who was unable to have children of her own.
