A single-engine plane crashed into dense woods in Riverside County, killing both men aboard. Names of both were withheld. The Cessna Centurion 210 took off from the Corona Airport bound for Riverside Airport but disappeared from radar at about 1:12 p.m., said Tommy Aina, a Federal Aviation Administration duty officer. Cause of the crash was not known.
