Jet Loses Air Pressure, Lands Safely in Boston

BOSTON — A Cleveland-bound Continental Airlines flight was diverted safely to Boston after the plane lost air pressure during its ascent from Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, Conn., officials said Thursday.
Authorities said no one was injured when the Boeing 737 with 40 passengers and six crew members landed in Boston Wednesday evening. An airline spokesman said the pressure loss appeared to have been caused by a malfunctioning valve in the pressurization system.
