TV RATINGS : Sunday Proves CBS’ Night

Good days at Black Rock! Not only did the recently cellar-dwelling CBS prime-time lineup feature this week’s No. 1 show on the A. C. Nielsen audience measurement chart--”The Karen Carpenter Story” TV movie--but also Nos. 2 and 3 as well, pushing CBS into second place for the week. The perennial top-rated network, NBC, was still on top, but with flagship series “The Cosby Show” slipping to fifth, who knows what could happen next week?
