Saddleback Remains Atop Basketball Poll

The top five teams in the Orange County Sportswriters’ Assn. prep basketball poll have retained their positions this week.

Saddleback High School earned all six first-place votes to remain the top-ranked team. Mater Dei, with its only two defeats against Saddleback, remains second.

Savanna, which had a 9-game winning streak snapped in a 64-57 loss to Western, dropped from sixth to seventh.
