Terminal Data Plans Photomatrix Acquisition

Terminal Data Corp. in Moorpark has tentatively agreed to acquire Photomatrix Corp. for an undisclosed price.

Terminal Data makes equipment that converts documents to images for storage on computer disks and microfilm. Privately held Photomatrix, headquartered in Culver City, produces microfiche duplicating systems and computerized scanners.

The agreement in principle to merge was approved by both companies’ directors, but terms of the deal were withheld pending a definitive merger agreement, Terminal Data said.
