Local News in Brief : Motorist Found Fatally Wounded
A 20-year-old woman was shot and fatally wounded early Wednesday while driving on a Harbor Freeway on-ramp in Carson, officials said.
Kabrilla Brown was found critically wounded shortly after midnight after her car crashed into a traffic meter post on the Sepulveda Boulevard on-ramp to the northbound freeway, Sheriff’s Deputy Dan Cox said.
The SouthCentral Los Angeles resident was pronounced dead about 12:45 a.m. at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, Cox said. Her husband, whose name was withheld, was detained for questioning at the Carson sheriff’s station. No motive had been determined, Cox said.
