Taft Sweeps Cleveland in Boys’ Volleyball

Dave Saranow had nine kills to lead Taft High to a 15-1, 15-3, 15-2 sweep of Cleveland in the West Valley League boys’ volleyball opener for both schools Tuesday at Taft.

In other matches, Granada Hills swept visiting Canoga Park, 15-5, 15-2, 15-1, in a Northwest Valley Conference match at Granada Hills, and Sylmar defeated host Monroe, 15-8, 15-3, 15-4, in an East Valley League match at Monroe.
