Lightning Hits Parked 747

TOKYO — Lightning struck the tail of an All Nippon Airways Boeing 747 on the ground at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport on Wednesday, injuring seven workers, two of them seriously, a Transport Ministry official said. None of the 534 passengers and a crew of 15 aboard the plane were hurt, and the jet suffered no major damage.
