A Fountain Valley bank was robbed just before noon Thursday by a “baby-faced” thief who escaped, police said.
The Security Pacific Bank branch at 17970 Magnolia St. was robbed at 11:56 a.m. by a blond about 21 years old, 5-feet-10 and 120 pounds. The robber was wearing a black leather jacket and white T-shirt, Police Lt. Rod Gillman said.
Gillman said the robber was given an undetermined amount of money after he handed a teller a demand note that said he had a gun. Officers were unsure if he fled in a car or on foot.
