Former USC running back O.J. Simpson pleaded not guilty, through his attorney, to misdemeanor charges that he beat his wife during a New Year’s Day dispute at their Brentwood home.
Simpson, 41, is charged with one count of spousal battery for allegedly slapping, kicking and threatening to kill his wife, Nicole, city attorney’s officials said.
