High School Track
In other boys’ meets:
Canoga Park 67, Chatsworth 56--Robin Kim and Eddie Bowling each won two events for Canoga Park (5-0) in the West Valley League meet at Chatsworth.
Kim won the 100 meters in a wind-aided 10.6, the 220 yards in a personal-best 22.2 and anchored a winning 440 relay (44.6).
Bowling, the defending City champion in the high jump, won that event at 6-6 and leaped 20-10 in the long jump.
San Fernando 74, Kennedy 52--Four double winners powered the Tigers’ win in the North Valley League meet at San Fernando.
Keary Johns won the 120-yard high hurdles in a wind-aided 15.1 and the 330-yard intermediate hurdles in 43.0, and Sergio Pizano had wind-aided wins of 11.3 in the 100 meters and 22.7 in the 220 yards. Sean Williams won the long jump at 21-10 for San Fernando.
GIRLS
Kennedy 76, San Fernando 26--San Fernando’s Felicia Howard won two events, but the Tigers were trounced in the North Valley League meet at San Fernando.
Howard had wind-aided victories of 12.6 in the 100 meters and 25.7 in the 220 yards. Kennedy’s Kathy McClain won the 110-yard low hurdles (wind-aided 17.0) and the 330 low hurdles (49.0).
