Gore’s Son Struck by Car as the Two Leave Game

BALTIMORE — The 6-year-old son of U.S. Sen. Albert Gore Jr. (D-Tenn.) was in serious but stable condition Tuesday after being hit the day before by a car as the two left Memorial Stadium following the Baltimore Orioles’ season opener. Police said Albert Gore III let go of his father’s hand and was struck when he ran into the street.
