Drive-By Shooting Wounds 2 Teens
Two teen-agers were injured in a drive-by shooting on Market Street on Tuesday night, police said.
Witnesses said at least three shots were fired from a red Hyundai toward a group of people standing on the sidewalk in the 4200 block of Market about 6 p.m.
Michael Reed, 16, was wounded in the hand and taken to Physicians & Surgeons Hospital. Eric Tillis, 18, was hit in the arm and taken to Paradise Valley Hospital. No information was available on either victim’s condition Tuesday night, but police said their injuries were not life-threatening.
